CJ's has a relaxed, family feel. Regular customers know to stick their heads into the kitchen to see what Chef Kost is preparing for catering jobs. Often, there's extra that can be purchased for lunch. Jeffries said customers also have come in for impromptu date nights and she's served three- and four-course meals with extra food from catering jobs or entrées from the freezer.
